It lies in the blemishes we carry, within the wrinkles we have earned through living a life, through the ability to be able to retain that twinkle within the eye.
As a photographer I look for beauty when I take landscape images but I look differently at people, I don't want the perfect clear skin and the dyed single toned hair, the manicured nails and plucked eyebrows, men that use moisturiser to hide themselves hold nothing for me.
Within the lines of our faces are the stories we have told, the grey flecks in our hair can reflect the light like no other colour. We are different, seldom following a fashion or a tend we fall out of the uniform of the younger generation and create our own.
I am drawn to those that wear themselves for all to see, it would be a much poorer world if we no longer had this library of humankind.
