I love the city on the rain, I spend hours just watching people trying to get out of it.

Taken in the same area in Liverpool as:

"Going Home" The title itself makes you contemplate at the photograph. When I first observed this photo I really loved all the lines in the picture. The lines of the picture draw you all the way down the street into this "massive" looking city. It really just sucks you right into the scene. After looking at the photo more I noticed one man riding his bike towards you and one man riding his bike away from you. Which then gets you thinking about the title meaning. I interpreted it as one man is escaping from his home and one is returning. A very meaningful piece. I love it. This is perfect.

Congrats on the DD...very much deserved :D.

One is taken by the little things: first off the white on the escaping biker's rain vestment. Even though we do not see his face, he is the strongest figure. The biker facing us gives us one asset -- his smile, which stands out. But the wet paving bricks connect us and draw us in with their sensual fading paint - drawing us on to the hope of the elusive light further on. Pedestrians fade along the sides appearing to approve of the decisive moment. Manipulation of darkening the foreground works, though it is the only weakness as a compromise to effect.

Very nice picture, great digital editing, but -I am sorry to say- your watermark is anything but easy on the eyes. Kind of ruined it for me.
Finally, the retouching seems a bit unnatural in some places, but that's just me.

Looks like the facing cyclist is smiling.

This street scene makes me want to live in England again despite the cold weather.
