Sometimes as a photographer we can take credit for the works we produce but in all honesty and I have said this before, the image is nothing if the subject is not beautiful. I'm a bloke with a camera, that's it, not a lot more but I am fortunate to be able to capture some wonderful subjects.
Take Iblis here, I watched as he caught the wind and was smelling the scents in the air, it was not me that formed the wind as it flowed across his face. As it lifted and bowed his fur in the breeze, he was born with the wonderful whiskers on his face and added the scars as he aged. The textures have altered as his mane has grown to frame a face so powerful it can be beyond comprehension. I had nothing to do with the regal way he carries himself nor the way we stand in awe of him.
I'm just the bloke with the camera that just happened to be there when the wind caught the scents he searched for.
